  1. ABOUT THESE TERMS

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ViXSYM mobile application, vixsym.com and related services (“ViXSYM” or the “Service”).

ViXSYM is developed and operated by VR Tech Pte. Ltd., Singapore (“VR Tech”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By creating an account or using ViXSYM, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

  1. ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 13 years old to create an independent ViXSYM account.

If you are aged 13 to 17, you may use ViXSYM only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. The parent or guardian is responsible for reviewing these Terms and supervising the young person’s use of the Service.

Children under 13 must not create an independent account. ViXSYM is not an app made specifically for children.

You must be legally permitted to use the Service in your country or region.

  1. YOUR ACCOUNT

ViXSYM may use mobile-number verification and one-time passwords to authenticate users. You are responsible for:

• providing accurate information;
• maintaining control of your mobile number and device;
• protecting verification codes and account access;
• keeping your profile information current; and
• notifying us if you suspect unauthorised access.

You must not impersonate another person, create an account using information you are not authorised to use or attempt to access another user’s account.

  1. PURPOSE OF VIXSYM

ViXSYM helps users organise personal and shared financial information, including expenses, split bills, borrowing and lending records, recurring payments, group-fund contributions, merchant-payment records and final settlements.

ViXSYM is a record-keeping and payment-coordination tool. It is not:

• a bank;
• a digital wallet;
• a licensed payment account;
• an escrow service;
• an investment platform;
• a money-remittance service;
• a credit provider; or
• financial, tax, legal or investment advice.

ViXSYM does not hold, receive, transfer or safeguard customer funds.

  1. PAYNOW AND EXTERNAL PAYMENTS

ViXSYM may generate, display or help coordinate PayNow payment information. Payments are completed through external banking or payment applications.

You are responsible for checking the recipient, amount, currency and payment description before authorising an external payment. ViXSYM does not control the bank or payment provider and cannot guarantee that a payment will be accepted, completed, reversed or refunded.

A record marked as paid, sent, received or confirmed in ViXSYM represents information recorded by users. It is not independent proof from a bank that a payment occurred.

Disputes concerning an actual payment must be resolved with the relevant participant, bank or payment provider.

  1. GROUPS AND SHARED RECORDS

Group members may create or view expenses, contributions, splits, payment requests, settlements and other information according to their permissions.

Group administrators may have additional powers, including managing members, recording fund activity, confirming or rejecting transactions and initiating final settlement.

You are responsible for:

• entering accurate information;
• reviewing records that affect you;
• confirming payments only when appropriate;
• correcting errors promptly;
• using administrative powers fairly; and
• obtaining permission before entering another person’s personal information.

ViXSYM calculations depend on the information entered and confirmed by users. Incorrect, incomplete or duplicated information may produce an incorrect balance or settlement.

  1. GROUP FUNDS

A ViXSYM Group Fund is a record of contributions, expenses and settlement responsibilities. It is not a bank account, pooled payment account or wallet operated by VR Tech.

Money remains with the relevant users or is paid through external methods. A fund administrator is responsible for handling any money received outside ViXSYM and for ensuring that recorded contributions, expenses, refunds and retained amounts are accurate.

VR Tech does not become a trustee, custodian or party to financial arrangements between group members.

  1. CURRENCY CONVERSION

ViXSYM may allow users to record amounts in different currencies and may provide estimated or frozen settlement conversions.

Exchange-rate information is provided for planning and group-settlement calculations only. ViXSYM does not execute a currency exchange or guarantee that a bank, card provider or money changer will use the same rate.

Rates may come from an external market-data provider, a stored recent rate or a custom rate confirmed by a group administrator. Users must review the displayed rate and converted amount before confirming a settlement.

Market movements, provider fees, card charges, rounding and timing differences may cause the real amount paid or received to differ from the ViXSYM estimate.

  1. COMMUNICATIONS AND USER CONTENT

You may be able to send messages and enter descriptions or other content. You retain responsibility for the content you submit.

You must not use ViXSYM to:

• harass, threaten or abuse another person;
• send unlawful, fraudulent or misleading content;
• publish another person’s private information without authority;
• distribute malware or harmful code;
• promote illegal activity;
• manipulate financial records dishonestly; or
• interfere with the security or operation of the Service.

You grant VR Tech a limited permission to store, process and display your content only as necessary to operate, secure and support ViXSYM.

  1. PROHIBITED USE

You must not:

• use ViXSYM for unlawful payments or money laundering;
• attempt to bypass authentication or security controls;
• access data belonging to another user without permission;
• exploit bugs or vulnerabilities;
• reverse engineer the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it;
• use automated systems to overload or scrape the Service;
• resell or commercially exploit the Service without written permission; or
• falsely represent that VR Tech guarantees a debt or payment.

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate misuse, comply with law or maintain service security.

  1. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

ViXSYM depends on third-party services, which may include mobile platforms, Firebase, cloud hosting, push notifications, banks, PayNow-supported applications, exchange-rate providers and affiliate partners.

Your use of a third-party service is governed by that provider’s terms and privacy policy. VR Tech is not responsible for a third party’s availability, pricing, security, decisions or performance.

  1. AFFILIATE LINKS AND OFFERS

ViXSYM may display optional third-party offers or affiliate links. If you follow an affiliate link and complete an eligible transaction, VR Tech may receive a commission.

Affiliate content is optional and does not form part of the core financial record. Prices, eligibility, availability, cancellations, refunds and fulfilment are controlled by the relevant provider.

  1. FREE AND PAID FEATURES

ViXSYM may offer free and paid subscription features. The features and limits of each plan will be shown before purchase.

Mobile subscriptions must be purchased and managed through the applicable Apple App Store or Google Play billing system unless another method is expressly permitted by platform rules.

Renewals, cancellations and refunds are handled according to the applicable store terms and local consumer law. Deleting the app or your ViXSYM account does not necessarily cancel an active store subscription. You must manage the subscription through the relevant store account.

We may change future pricing or plan features, but changes will not be applied contrary to applicable store requirements or consumer law.

  1. ADVERTISING

A free version of ViXSYM may display dismissible advertising. Paid plans may remove ordinary advertisements as described at the time of purchase.

Affiliate offers may still be available to both free and paid users because they are optional recommendations rather than forced advertisements.

Where advertising or tracking requires permission, ViXSYM will request the applicable consent or platform authorisation.

  1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

ViXSYM, including its software, design, branding, text, graphics and original content, belongs to VR Tech or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use ViXSYM for its intended purpose while you comply with these Terms.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of ViXSYM or its intellectual property to you.

  1. SERVICE AVAILABILITY AND CHANGES

We aim to provide a reliable Service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

The Service may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, internet failure, third-party outages, security incidents or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We may improve, add, modify or discontinue features. Where a material change affects existing users, subscriptions or personal data, we will provide notice where reasonably required.

  1. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION AND DELETION

You may stop using ViXSYM and may request account deletion using an available in-app option or by contacting us.

We may suspend or terminate an account that seriously or repeatedly breaches these Terms, threatens the security of the Service, harms other users or must be restricted for legal reasons.

Account deletion may not remove every shared financial record. Certain records may be retained or de-identified where necessary to preserve another participant’s legitimate group history, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or comply with law.

  1. DISCLAIMERS

ViXSYM is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that:

• user-entered information is accurate;
• another user will make or confirm a payment;
• an estimated balance matches a bank record;
• a currency estimate matches an actual exchange rate;
• an external provider will complete a transaction; or
• the Service will always be available without errors.

You remain responsible for reviewing important amounts and keeping independent records where necessary.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

  1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VR Tech will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from:

• inaccurate or unauthorised user entries;
• disagreements between users;
• external payments or failed transfers;
• third-party products or services;
• exchange-rate differences;
• loss of access caused by your device, mobile number or credentials; or
• events outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.

  1. YOUR RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOSS

You may be responsible for reasonable losses or claims caused by your unlawful use of ViXSYM, deliberate misuse of another person’s information, fraudulent records or serious breach of these Terms.

This does not apply to losses caused by VR Tech’s own breach, negligence or unlawful conduct.

  1. PRIVACY

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal data. By using ViXSYM, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the Privacy Policy.

  1. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to ViXSYM, legal requirements, security needs or business operations.

We will publish the revised Terms with an updated date. Where a change is material, we may provide additional notice through the app, website or another appropriate method.

Continued use after the revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

  1. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.

Any dispute should first be raised with us so that both sides can attempt to resolve it in good faith. If it cannot be resolved, the dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Singapore courts, unless applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
